Join Paul McCormack for this two hour Jumping Back & Jumping Through Workshop.
We will go through the fundamentals, you will learn strengthening exercises and drills to help sustain this sometimes elusive part of practice.
It will be a fun and challenging morning with plenty to take away and build upon in your own practice.
Paul McCormack is an experienced practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga, pranayama and meditation. Paul is passionate about sharing his journey and experience within the ancient art of yoga, and all of its limbs.

BEGINNERS ASHTANGA YOGA 6 WEEK COURSE
COMING IN 2023 DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED
Join Paul McCormack for this 6 week course, designed for you to begin exploring your body, mind and breath through the ancient art of yoga.
​
Spend six weeks learning the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga, we will embrace a modified Primary series that will allow you to access this ancient form of yoga.
The course is aimed at those who have no yoga experience at all, or some yoga experience, and those who have practiced yoga for a while, but have not had the opportunity to learn some of the basics in a safe environment.
The course is also the perfect stepping stone for those wishing to join our Saturday Mysore class.
We will take the postures apart and allow time for you to understand the mechanics of each pose.
At the end of the course you will have the beginning of your very own practice.
During this course we will cover :
- The principles of Ashtanga yoga
- Ancient breathing techniques
- Postural alignment
- Yoga history
We will be working with the Ashtanga Vinyasa System with the aim that after the course is complete, you will have the opportunity to take your new knowledge and experience, to begin a self practice at home. Or go to any yoga class feeling much more confident that you have a structural yoga foundation ready to build upon.

The class will be limited to 12 students, allowing for personalised attention and questions.
